OBJECTIVES

The main objective of the team is to elucidate the contribution of innate immune signalling proteins to cellular transformation or to the apoptosis of tumor cells. Moreover, we are working to define mechanisms allowing cells that are subjected to an oncogenic stress to adapt to the energetic and metabolic constraints resulting from this stress. We have developed several genetic animal models to address the above questions in vivo, and pre-clinical studies are ongoing to evaluate potential therapeutic targets resulting from our studies.
